Engineering. From 1998 to 2001
I was a member of the staff at the
Institute for Biomedical Engineering at the
Universität Karlsruhe (TH)
and worked as a research assistant. My PhD was about
"Methods for Determination of Three-dimensional Intracardial and Extracorporal Electrode Positions".
In 2001, I joined the software development team at
Polytec GmbH in Waldbronn near to Karlsruhe.

Leasure Time:
From time to time I step on my bike for a ride through the Franconian Switzerland.
It is a Yamaha FZ6 ABS from 2007 (Model 2006). Is is a so called touring bike. The motorcycle has a liquid-cooled inline 4-cylinder DOHC
motor, 16 valves, a cubic capacity of 600cc and 98 horse powers at 12000 rpm.
A so called DOHC (dual overhead cam) is characterized by two camshafts being located within the cylinder head,
one for inlet and one for exhaust valves.
